The ADA Step Out in Oakland was the second time Dennis and I have walked or volunteered in the event to help fight Diabetes. Dennis was the team leader for his team representing Local CWA 9415. Dennis and I thank our family and friends who made generous donations toward the American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk at Lake Merritt on October 22, 2011. Dennis raised a total of $2,285.00 and was the #1 walker. Team CWA Local 9415 was second in fundraising with 13 members totally $5,160 for the fight against Diabetes. Below are some of the pictures taken of the friends and co-workers of Dennis and I who participated as team members and helped make make a difference in the fight against Diabetes.
